Hierbij worden de laatste technieken binnen het vakgebied van de genetica ingezet. We werken met de nieuwste technologie\u00ebn om DNA te onderzoeken: van moderne methoden om DNA uit te lezen tot slimme algoritmes voor het opsporen van genetische varianten en software die helpt bij de interpretatie daarvan. Als software engineer speel jij hierin een belangrijke rol.<\/p>\n<p>Onze processen zijn sterk geautomatiseerd; zowel in het natte lab (aansturing pipeteer robots) alsook in het analyseren van grote hoeveelheden data (Bioinformatica) en de interpretatie van de resultaten. Dagelijks verwerken wij rond de 150 DNA-samples met behulp van meerdere moderne onderzoeksmethoden.<\/p>\n<p>Dit geautomatiseerde proces genereert grote hoeveelheden data (tot ~1TB per DNA-sample). De systemen verwerken informatie uit meerdere bronnen, sturen laboratoriumapparatuur aan en moeten zeer stabiel en effici\u00ebnt draaien. We gebruiken daarbij een mix van standaardsoftware, specifiek geconfigureerde pakketten en zelfontwikkelde toepassingen. De infrastructuur moet daarom flexibel, schaalbaar \u00e9n betrouwbaar zijn, passend bij de hoge eisen van pati\u00ebntenzorg.<\/p>\n<p>Onze ontwikkelstack omvat Java, Spring en Vaadin en qua tools werken we met Atlassian, Github en Slack. Dit alles draait op een groot HPC (6PB met 1448 cores). De benodigde informatie voor uitvoer van deze processen bevind zich in verschillende systemen waarbij de gegevensuitwisseling ge\u00fcniformeerd moet worden.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Wat ga je doen?<\/strong><br \/>Als softwareontwikkelaar ben jij verantwoordelijk voor de software-infrastructuur die automatische aansturing, dataverwerking en data-interpretatie ondersteunt. In het bijzonder de uitwisseling van gegevens via koppelingen met het ziekenhuisbrede EPD en eigen systemen binnen ons laboratorium. Je werkt samen met meerdere software engineers \u00e9n eindgebruikers aan de onderliggende infrastructuur waarbij jij specifiek verantwoordelijk bent voor de gegevensuitwisseling. Je bent hierin dan ook zowel een functioneel als ook het technisch aanspreekpunt voor collega\u2019s die met jouw oplossingen werken.<\/p>\n<p>Dit doe je zelfstandig of in teamverband voor het gehele ontwikkelproces:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Het opstellen van requirements &amp; het maken van het ontwerp.<\/li>\n<li>Ontwikkeling in afstemming met eindgebruikers.<\/li>\n<li>Het testen en in productie brengen van nieuwe functionaliteit.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Zo bouw je mee aan nieuwe functionaliteiten die bijdragen aan betere diagnoses voor pati\u00ebnten. Binnen de afdeling Medische Psychologie ben je vanuit de sectie volwassenen en ouderen werkzaam in de pati\u00ebntenzorg voor diverse klinische afdelingen.<\/p>\n<p>Een belangrijk deel van je werkzaamheden vindt plaats binnen de transgenderzorg, een dynamisch en groeiend zorggebied waarin je intensief samenwerkt met artsen en andere professionals aan de beste persoonsgerichte zorg voor pati\u00ebnten.<\/p>\n<p>Als GIOS neem je deel aan multidisciplinair overleg en binnen de afdeling Medische Psychologie aan de pati\u00ebntenbespreking, het sectieoverleg en het afdelingsoverleg. Naast de werkzaamheden in de pati\u00ebntenzorg participeer je in ontwikkeling-, innovatie- en management trajecten.<\/p>\n<p>Binnen de opleiding ben je ook een jaar werkzaam bij de afdeling Psychiatrie. Binnen deze afdeling werk je in de zorg voor volwassenen en ouderen (leeftijd 18-95+), binnen de zorglijn impulsregulatie (met name ASS, ADHD en verslaving) \u00f3f binnen de zorglijn stressregulatie (met name depressie). Daarnaast kan er ervaring worden opgedaan op de andere units binnen de afdeling zoals de psychiatrische universiteitskliniek (PUK), de consultatieve dienst en\/of het Centrum voor Mindfulness.<\/p>\n<p>Jouw exacte leertraject wordt in samenspraak samengesteld, afhankelijk van jouw leerbehoeften en de mogelijkheden op dat moment op de afdeling. Als GIOS neem je deel aan de ochtendoverdracht, het vakgroepoverleg en de Grand Round (wetenschap). Je werkt aan het snijvlak van orthopedie, fysiotherapie en digitale innovatie, waarbij geavanceerde technologie\u00ebn zoals AI en Clinical Decision Support Systems (CDSS) worden ingezet om behandelingen \u00e9cht op maat te maken.<\/p>\n<p>Een kernonderdeel is het PREPARE Rehab-project, een internationaal EU-horizon gefinancierd project dat zich richt op data-interoperabiliteit in de revalidatiepraktijk in 9 Europese landen. Binnen PREPARE wordt gebruikgemaakt van OHDSI-community standaarden om klinische data uit verschillende ziekenhuizen en systemen uniform te structureren (FAIR te maken) en te analyseren. Dit stelt onderzoekers in staat om op grote schaal inzichten te verzamelen over behandeluitkomsten en pati\u00ebntenprofielen, en om digitale beslissingsondersteuning te verbeteren. PREPARE heeft al waardevolle resultaten opgeleverd, zoals gestandaardiseerde datamodellen voor revalidatie en gevalideerde algoritmes die behandelbeslissingen ondersteunen.<\/p>\n<p>Naast dit internationale kader werk je ook lokaal aan implementatie en co-creatie. Je ontwikkelt en test AI-modellen voor het interpreteren van vrije tekstdata over sociale determinanten van gezondheid en bouwt samen met pati\u00ebnten een CDSS voor de orthopediepraktijk. Daarom neem je intensief deel aan onze poliklinische spreekuren, waaronder subspecialistische spreekuren voor CAH en andere bijnieraandoeningen, DSD, Turner- en Klinefeltersyndroom, groeistoornissen, PWS en transgenderzorg.<\/p>\n<p>Je hebt eigen spreekuren met supervisie op maat, waarin je zowel controle- als nieuwe pati\u00ebnten ziet. Op deze manier maak je kennis met alle facetten van de kinderendocrinologie. Daarnaast heb je een eigen telefonisch spreekuur.<\/p>\n<p>Je raakt vertrouwd met functietesten, die in ons ziekenhuis meestal in dagbehandeling worden uitgevoerd. Ook neem je deel aan alle multidisciplinaire overleggen, waarbij je actief betrokken bent door eigen pati\u00ebnten in te brengen en te bespreken. Als fellow participeer je in de diensten kinderendocrinologie.<\/p>\n<p>Transgenderzorg maakt structureel onderdeel uit van de opleiding. De kinderdiabeteszorg vindt plaats binnen het kinderdiabetescentrum Vivendia, conform de opleidingseisen van het CGS. Dr. Paul Voorhoeve, kinderarts-endocrinoloog, is gedurende deze periode je opleider.<\/p>\n<p>Tijdens je fellowship reserveren wij ruimte voor een stage op het klinisch laboratorium, het genetisch laboratorium en de afdeling nucleaire geneeskunde. In afstemming met de opleiders kan een gedeelte van de opleidingstijd worden besteed aan een niet-klinische kerntaak.<\/p>\n<p>Je neemt actief deel aan de kinderendocrinologische dienst en levert daarnaast een bijdrage aan de algemene pediatrische achterwachtdiensten.<\/p>\n<p>Wij bieden jou de mogelijkheid om wetenschappelijk onderzoek te verrichten binnen de door ons gedefinieerde speerpunten.
