You combine physical work with administrative accuracy and ensure that every shipment leaves the building flawlessly. You kickstart your workday with a cup of coffee and a short briefing, after which you immediately hit the ground running to process incoming goods and prepare orders for shipment. No day is the same, but your focus on quality remains constant.

You will be employed directly by our client. Initially, you will work at the Schiphol location, after which you will move to the brand-new facility in Nieuw-Vennep around late April. You will work in a great team with rotating shifts (07:30–16:00 and 09:30–18:00), ensuring your weekend always starts on time!

Responsibilities:

• Loading and unloading trucks with utmost precision.
• Scanning incoming and outgoing goods for error-free registration.
• Processing all goods flows in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Preparing international shipments for transport.
• Performing sharp quality checks on all products.
• Labeling and correctly sorting goods.
• Ensuring a safe and strictly organized work environment.

Requirements:

• An enthusiastic colleague with an MBO level of thinking and working.
• Experience in logistics or air cargo is a major advantage.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Dutch and English.
• In possession of a forklift and/or reach truck certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
• Experience with MS Office for administrative tasks.
• Available full-time (40 hours) and flexible regarding working hours.
• A positive VGB (Statement of No Objection) is a requirement before starting.

Logistics Worker during night shifts

Logistics Worker (Night Shift) – Aalsmeer

As a logistics worker on the night shift, you will work through Staffice at our client's location in Aalsmeer. You start your workday at 19:00 and ensure that the logistical process runs smoothly while the rest of the country is asleep. You are responsible for loading and unloading trucks and accurately preparing shipments. Since you work independently, you carry a high level of responsibility for the progress of the operations. When an urgent request comes in, you get into the van for a trip across the Netherlands or Belgium to deliver goods on time. You continue working until all tasks for the night are fully completed.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading trucks.
• Picking orders and preparing them for shipment.
• Setting up shipments for transport.
• Operating the forklift, reach truck, and EPT.
• Carrying out urgent delivery runs through the Netherlands and Belgium by van.
• Managing the warehouse and stock independently during the night.
• Checking outgoing shipments for quality and correct quantities.

Requirements

• You hold a valid category B driver's license.
• You have demonstrable work experience in the logistics sector.
• You are proficient in either the Dutch or English language.
• You preferably have experience operating a forklift, reach truck, and EPT.
• You are a reliable person who can work well alone and takes responsibility.
• You are physically fit and available to work from 19:00 until the job is done.

Als logistiek medewerker in de nacht werk je via Staffice bij onze opdrachtgever in Aalsmeer. Je start je werkdag om 19:00 uur en zorgt ervoor dat het logistieke proces vlekkeloos verloopt terwijl de rest van het land slaapt. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het laden en lossen van vrachtwagens en het nauwkeurig klaarzetten van zendingen. Omdat je zelfstandig werkt, draag je een grote verantwoordelijkheid voor de voortgang van de werkzaamheden. Wanneer er een spoedklus binnenkomt, stap je in de bus voor een rit door heel Nederland of België om goederen op tijd af te leveren. Je werkt door totdat al het werk voor die nacht volledig is afgerond.

Werkzaamheden

• Laden en lossen van vrachtwagens.
• Verzamelen van orders en deze verzendklaar maken.
