You will be working at one of our clients specialized in global logistics solutions. For this vacancy, you will receive a contract directly with our client.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinating daily road transport shipments and managing bookings.
• Negotiating with subcontractors to secure the best freight rates.
• Maintaining close contact and building relationships with international customers.
• Monitoring shipments and keeping track & trace systems up to date.
• Proactively solving logistical bottlenecks and challenges.
• Managing the correct documentation and administrative processing.
• Optimizing loading processes in close cooperation with carriers.
• Handling billing and reporting on transport flows.

We are looking for:

• MBO/HBO (vocational/professional) work and thinking level.
• Experience in logistics or transport is a major plus.
• A stress-resistant mindset; you keep your cool when things get busy.
• Strong negotiation skills and a true hands-on mentality.

Houd jij van dynamiek en wil je de regie voeren over wereldwijde zendingen? Als Luchtvracht Expediteur zorg jij dat alles op rolletjes loopt. Van het regelen van import- en exportzendingen tot het schakelen met airlines en de douane: jij bent de onmisbare schakel in de keten. Je start je dag met een bak koffie, checkt direct de status van lopende zendingen en schakelt razendsnel als een vlucht vertraging heeft. Geen dag is hetzelfde en dat is precies wat jou energie geeft!

Bij deze vacature krijg jij direct een contract bij onze opdrachtgever in de regio Schiphol-Rijk. Je gaat aan de slag bij een ambitieus, internationaal bedrijf in de logistiek waar de lijnen kort zijn en de ambities groot.

Werkzaamheden:

• Coördineren van luchtvrachtzendingen van A tot Z (import en export).
• Onderhouden van nauw contact met klanten, airlines, vervoerders en agenten.
• Inkopen van scherpe tarieven en het opstellen van offertes.
• Verwerken van de volledige operationele en administratieve afhandeling.
• Monitoren van zendingen en het up-to-date houden van de transportdossiers.
• Proactief communiceren over wijzigingen of eventuele vertragingen.
• Zorgen voor een vlekkeloze afhandeling van douanedocumentatie.

Wij zoeken:

• Een afgeronde mbo-opleiding in de logistiek of transport.
• Minimaal 1 tot 2 jaar ervaring in de luchtvracht (3 tot 5 jaar is een pré).
• In het bezit van het certificaat Medewerker Luchtvracht (of de drive om deze te halen).
• Goede beheersing van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal.
• Ervaring met CargoWise en Microsoft Office is een groot pluspunt.
