Warehouse employee

This new and ultramodern distribution center in Oss supplies products for hundreds of supermarkets. It is a long-term job at a company where you can really build a future.

You will work as an allround warehouse employee and switch between the departments:

  • Inbound: This is where the truck drivers drop off the new goods. Not physically demanding.
  • CPS: Stands for 'continuous packing system'. Voice picking by hand and working on the EPT (no certificates needed, just experience is also ok). Can be physically demanding, depending on the products.
  • DPS: Stands for 'direct picking system', similar to pick-to-light. Here, the products come to you. There is some time pressure, but it is not physically demanding work. Located at a higher level of the DC (easier if you are not afraid of heights). You need to be able to focus and concentrate well.
  • Outbound: At this department you place trolleys and dollies at the right location for pick-up. It is important that you are able to concentrate well, otherwise products go to the wrong shop. It can be physically demanding (in the sense of pushing carts), depending on what products are on the trolley. Also includes cross dock: risk items, alcoholic beverages, cigarettes etc.
  • Emballage: This is where empty product-packaging is returned for recycling, such as empty bottles, crates, cans and plastic. Also the trollies are returned here, which need to be checked for re-use in following dispatches. Can be physically demanding, depending on the products.

As a warehouse employee you will work in 3 shifts from Mon-Sat.
The working hours are: 06:00-14:30/14:00-22:30/22:00-06:30.
