Kerndocent Medische hulpverlening (0,5 fte -tijdelijke functie)

Vanwege zwangerschapsverlof is de bachelor Medische hulpverlening op zoek naar een docent die vanaf 15 november 2026 kan starten voor de duur van tenminste vijf maanden.

Als Docent Medische hulpverlening zal je je bezig houden met:

• Het verzorgen van (praktijk)onderwijs binnen het acute domein; o.a. scenario-onderwijs, casuïstiek gestuurd onderwijs en student begeleiding;
• Het actief deelnemen aan de onderwijsontwikkeling vanuit het vakgebied waarbij uitgegaan wordt van competentiegericht leren in een contextrijke leeromgeving;
• Het meedenken over het doorvoeren van aanpassingen waardoor het onderwijs aansluit op de actuele situatie binnen de acute zorg.

Instituut voor Gezondheidszorg en Kenniscentrum Zorginnovatie
Het Instituut voor Gezondheidszorg (IvG) heeft een breed aanbod aan gezondheids-gerelateerde opleidingen. Hieronder vallen de bacheloropleidingen Ergotherapie, Fysiotherapie, Logopedie, Verpleegkunde, Leraar Gezondheidszorg en Welzijn, Verloskunde, en Medisch Hulpverlener. Daarnaast verzorgt het Instituut de masteropleidingen Advanced Nursing Practice (ANP), Physician Assistant (PA) en Fysiotherapie (met uitstroomprofielen kinderfysiotherapie, sportfysiotherapie en manuele therapie).

Hogeschool Rotterdam heeft zes kenniscentra voor praktijkonderzoek. Tussen de kenniscentra is onderlinge samenhang en samenwerking. Ieder kenniscentrum heeft een inhoudelijke verbinding met meerdere opleidingen. Het Instituut voor Gezondheidszorg heeft deze verbinding met het Kenniscentrum Zorginnovatie.

Study Career Coach (SCC) Willem de Kooning Academy (0,2 – 0,6 fte)

As a Study Career Coach you support and guide the students through their study, help them in learning how to study, coach them in choosing their study path in order to gain study success and to become a responsible and autonomous individual. You do that by:

• Focusing on the personal and educational learning goals
• Enabling moments of reflection and evaluation and aiming to raise awareness in the student's development
• Leading interactive group sessions with students
• Supervising group and individual assignments
• Individual talks with students
• Refer students timely to the right support, like student affairs or the student counselors

Willem de Kooning Academie
The Willem de Kooning Academy (WdKA) is a leading international academy for Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programs in media, art, design, leisure and arts education.

Team
Study Career Coaches (SCC's) at the WdKA work with the students throughout their bachelor or master programs. Study Career Coaching is part of the curriculum for all programs at WDKA.

The SCC curriculum aims to make students aware of their own growth and supports them to acquire the ability to manage their own (study) career in the rapidly changing world of art & design and the cultural domain. You will be part of one or more major or master teams, where you are responsible for the SCC part of the curriculum. To align the SCC programs throughout all the different educations, there is a coordinator SCC who is responsible for the professionalization of all SCC colleagues and the quality and content of the SCC program.

At the moment we are looking for new SCC’s for different teams: Photography, Fine Art, Teacher education, Illustration, Graphic Design and master education. We will look for the best fit -content wise and with the team- when placing new colleagues in teams, but we expect you to be flexible and willing to work in different teams.

Instructor Living Station Lab - Willem de Kooning Academy (0,4 fte)

As a Intructor within the Living Station Lab, you will play an important role in supporting education and experimentation in a learning environment focused on ‘living’ and biological systems. You will be working as part of a small and dedicated technical team, you will help create an inspiring, safe and well-equipped environment where students, researchers and staff can explore new ideas and bring projects to life. With your technical expertise and hands-on mindset, you will support both educational activities and support individual research by our students working in the lab. You will work closely with students at all levels, helping them develop skills, experiment with biomaterials and realise their creative and research ambitions.

In addition, you will work on:

• Maintain the Living Station Lab, ensuring that facilities, tools, equipment and materials are safe, accessible and ready for educational activities;
• Support students, tutors, instructors and external experts in the development, production and execution of projects, experiments and research activities;
• Assist and support to the making practices for novel approaches to biomaterials experimentation and related processes. Contribute to the realisation of practical manuals that enable independent learning and research;
• Prepare and support workshops, demonstrations and skills-based lessons, working closely with tutors and instructors to align activities with the curriculum;
• Develop and maintain clear documentation, user instructions and guidance materials for equipment, facilities and laboratory processes;
• Support the operational organisation of the lab, administrative tasks and the creation of content for the Living Station website.

About the Living Station Lab
The Living Station Lab is a research and learning environment focused on ‘living’ and biological systems. It supports bio-art and bio-design practices by providing facilities and technologies for investigation, creation, and collaboration. Sitting at the intersection of art, design, and biology, the lab offers space for creative exploration and critical reflection on the relationship between ecology and technology.

We have microscopes, a sterile bio cabinet, incubators, an autoclave and all the materials to work safely in the lab. Students can conduct research and explore diverse living materials and ecosystems, such as plants, mycelium, soil, and waste streams.

The Living Station Lab serves two purposes. It is a place to experiment with techniques and create biomaterials, including bioplastics, fabrics from waste streams, and other innovative materials. On the other hand, it aims to be a learning environment in which research and collaboration is encouraged with living (eco)systems in and outside the school. We organize projects on the Rooftop Garden and collaborate with external organisations who provide a different environment and context than the lab.

Docent Ruimtelijke Ontwikkeling (specialisatie Planologie) (0,6 – 0,8 fte)

Als Docent Ruimtelijke Ontwikkeling inspireer je studenten met jouw praktijkkennis en help je hen complexe ruimtelijke vraagstukken te analyseren en vertalen naar toekomstbestendige oplossingen. Je werkt in een dynamische leeromgeving waarin onderwijs, praktijk en maatschappelijke opgaven samenkomen. Daarbij krijg je volop ruimte om jouw expertise in te zetten én jezelf verder te ontwikkelen als docent.

Je gaat onder andere aan de slag met:

• Begeleiden van studenten in het atelieronderwijs, waarin zij werken aan actuele ruimtelijke vraagstukken uit de praktijk;
• Verzorgen van colleges en trainingen op het gebied van planologie, ruimtelijke ordening en gebiedsontwikkeling;
• Coachen van studenten in tijdens hun studie, stage en afstuderen;
• Verbinden van theorie en praktijk door jouw kennis en ervaring uit het werkveld in het onderwijs te brengen;
• Samenwerken met collega's aan de verdere ontwikkeling en vernieuwing van het onderwijs.

Opleiding Ruimtelijke Ontwikkeling
Bij de opleiding Ruimtelijke Ontwikkeling werk je in een betrokken en bevlogen team van docenten en professionals met uiteenlopende expertise, zoals planologie, stedenbouw, gebiedsontwikkeling, mobiliteit en landschap. Samen leiden we studenten op tot ruimtelijke professionals die complexe maatschappelijke vraagstukken kunnen analyseren en vertalen naar haalbare en toekomstbestendige oplossingen.

We werken nauw samen met het werkveld en de stad Rotterdam. In ons onderwijs staan samenwerking, eigenaarschap, praktijkgericht leren en persoonlijke ontwikkeling centraal. Binnen het team is er volop ruimte om jouw kennis en ervaring in te zetten én jezelf verder te ontwikkelen als professional en docent.

Hoofd Operationele Veiligheid (1,0 fte)

Een veilige en gastvrije leer- en werkomgeving creëren voor ruim 39.000 studenten en 4.200 medewerkers. Dat is waar jij als Hoofd Operationele Veiligheid dagelijks aan bijdraagt. In deze veelzijdige functie geef je leiding aan het beveiligingsteam en zorg je ervoor dat operationele veiligheid binnen Hogeschool Rotterdam professioneel, toekomstgericht en goed georganiseerd is.

Je combineert leiderschap met beleidsontwikkeling. Je stuurt niet alleen op de dagelijkse uitvoering van beveiliging en bedrijfshulpverlening, maar vertaalt ook ontwikkelingen op het gebied van veiligheid naar beleid, protocollen en verbeteringen die passen bij een dynamische onderwijsomgeving. Daarbij werk je nauw samen met collega’s binnen en buiten de afdeling Facilitair en Operationele Veiligheid. Daarnaast maak je deel uit van de centrale crisisorganisatie van Hogeschool Rotterdam.

Verder ga je aan de slag met:

• Het leidinggeven aan de Meewerkend Teamleider en het team van beveiligers, waarbij je zorgt voor een professionele, betrokken en resultaatgerichte samenwerking.
• Het ontwikkelen, implementeren en actualiseren van protocollen, richtlijnen en werkwijzen rondom operationele veiligheid, incidentregistratie, rapportages en toezicht.
• Het versterken van het veiligheidsbewustzijn binnen de hogeschool door verbeterinitiatieven, advisering en samenwerking met in- en externe stakeholders.
• Het coördineren en bewaken van een goed functionerende BHV-organisatie binnen de verschillende locaties van Hogeschool Rotterdam.
• Het sturen op en beheren van essentiële veiligheidscontracten, waaronder de uitbestede dienstverlening rondom diverse alarmsystemen en de opvolging van meldingen en incidenten.
• Het volgen van landelijke en internationale ontwikkelingen op het gebied van veiligheid en deze vertalen naar de praktijk van het hoger onderwijs.

Het team/De afdeling
Je maakt deel uit van de afdeling Facilitair en Operationele Veiligheid binnen de dienst Vastgoed en Facilitair (VeF). Binnen deze afdeling werken verschillende teams samen aan een veilige, gastvrije en goed functionerende leer- en werkomgeving voor studenten, medewerkers en bezoekers.

Als Hoofd Operationele Veiligheid geef je leiding aan het beveiligingsteam, bestaande uit een Meewerkend Teamleider en elf beveiligers. Samen zorgen jullie ervoor dat de huisregels worden nageleefd en dat studenten en medewerkers zich veilig voelen op de zestien locaties van Hogeschool Rotterdam. Je rapporteert aan de Manager Facilitair en Operationele Veiligheid.

Daarnaast ben je onderdeel van het managementteam van de afdeling. Samen met zeven andere hoofden werk je samen aan de verdere ontwikkeling van de dienstverlening. Waar nodig word je ondersteund door het beleidsteam van de afdeling bij beleidsontwikkeling, advisering en organisatie brede veiligheidsvraagstukken.
