Lecturer Bachelor Advertising & Beyond (0,6 fte)

The Major Advertising & Beyond is open to hiring several tutors for year 2 and 3 with a focus on concept, branding, art direction and copy.

Position year 2: you are able to inspire the student, from your expertise as a creative director, to look at current issues in society to form their own opinion and to create and present urgent and communicative work.

Position year 3: you can inspire and guide students, from your expertise as creative director, towards their upcoming internship in the 2nd half of the academic year.

It is not possible to apply for a specific year.

Tasks will include:

• Teaching, as part of a team, possibly in courses ranging from the second year to the third.
• Participating in the development of classes for the program.
• Participating in final assessments, both in the context of classes you are teaching.
• Responding with flexibility to a workload that varies over the course of the academic year.

Tutor Bachelor Product Design (0,3 fte)

The Major Product Design program is seeking a tutor for years 1, 2, and potentially 3 and 4. As a tutor, you will play a crucial role in shaping students' understanding of product design, material knowledge, construction, and production techniques, thereby contributing significantly to their academic and professional development.

Focus year 1: You are a practical maker, with experience in wood, metal, and digital manufacturing i.e. who can create a strong foundation for the students to discover their creative power and develop their knowledge of materials, techniques and design skills, such as iterative idea development and divergent thinking.

Focus year 2: Drawing from your expertise as a product designer, you will help students explore speculative futures of design and production. Through smart small assignments and ambitious large assignments, you will develop their ability to understand how to intervene and adapt objects and processes. Your guidance will help them form their own opinions and create and present urgent and communicative work.

Focus year 3: you can inspire and guide students, from your expertise as a product designer, towards collaborating with external partners and their upcoming minor and graduation year.

Focus year 4: you can coach students to reach their full product design potential on a self-initiated project.

Tasks will include:

• Preparing classes and teaching, as part of a project-team, possibly in courses ranging from the first year to the fourth;
• Ensuring an inclusive and safe learning environment;
• Participating in the development of curriculum and classes for the program;
• Participating in assessments, both in the context of classes you are teaching, and in stand-alone assessment moments such as annual competence-based assessments and graduation;
• Participating in team meetings and promoting the department during open days;
• Responding with flexibility to a workload that varies over the course of the academic year.

Tutor Bachelor Textiles, Sustainability & Fashion Design (0,25 fte)

• Teaching 1st and 2nd year BA students and preparing classes and teaching;
• Ensuring an inclusive and safe learning environment;
• Participating in the development of curriculum and classes for the program;
• Participating in assessments, both in the context of classes you are teaching, and in stand-alone assessment moments such as annual competence-based assessments and graduation.

Tutor Bachelor Spatial Design (0,3 fte)

As a tutor, you play a crucial role in shaping students' understanding of spatial design essentials, 2D and 3D software, material knowledge, construction and VR.

Tasks will include:

• Preparing classes and teaching, as part of a project-team, possibly in courses ranging from the first year to the fourth.
• Ensuring an inclusive and safe learning environment.
• Participating in the development of curriculum and classes for the program.
• Participating in assessments, both in the context of classes you are teaching, and in stand-alone assessment moments such as annual competence-based assessments and graduation.
• Responding with flexibility to a workload that varies over the course of the academic year.

Kerndocent HRM (0,6 - 1,0 fte)

Wij zoeken per direct een kerndocent voor onze bachelor HRM opleiding. Een teamplayer met bij voorkeur solide HR advies of sterke arbeidsrecht ervaring die contextrijk onderwijs kan verzorgen voor onze studenten. In een kerndocentrol begeleid je studenten bij een leertaak op zowel de inhoud als op skills. Daarnaast begeleid je projecten samen met studenten voor en met het bedrijfsleven op voornamelijk HR gerelateerde vraagstukken.

Als kerndocent werk je als deskundige, begeleider, inspirator, onderzoeker en professional. Samen met collega’s ontwikkel je tevens onderwijs in de volle breedte van het HR vak waarbij je de trends en het werkveld vertaalt naar ons onderwijs. Je participeert actief in een jaarteam en je coacht studenten in de voortgang van de studie. Je hebt bij voorkeur een uitgebreid netwerk zodat je de praktijk kan binnenhalen voor onze studenten en je bent bereid je te verdiepen in de hedendaagse HR-praktijk of trends & ontwikkelingen door hetzij stage of bijscholing.
