As a lecturer/researcher (0.4 FTE) in Creative Business at the Academy for AI, Games & Media (AGM), you will have the opportunity to guide and support our students as they develop into young professionals in the Creative Business industry. Within this temporary job, you will support our students in their professional development. You will teach professional personal branding and communication, and prepare them for – as well as supervise them during – their placements. You will also guide students in building the essential competencies they need to thrive in this dynamic industry. Drawing on your knowledge of and experience in the creative industries, you will deliver inspiring education that plays a meaningful role in shaping the next generation of professionals. In addition, you will supervise students during their work placements, and support second-year bachelor’s students as they prepare for the next step in their academic journey: the third-year placement. Your industry network will be a valuable asset to the curriculum – you will draw on your professional connections to arrange guest lectures, practical assignments and placement opportunities.
As a lecturer, you will act as a key point of contact for students as they navigate their development, career choices and transition into the professional field. Working in close collaboration with our placement office and the relevant educational courses – where students focus on professional branding and industry readiness – you will support and inspire students in defining their career direction and preparing for their placement. Furthermore, you will act as a work placement supervisor, visiting creative business industry contacts and students currently on placement.

- This job involves a temporary position, which means you will be appointed for one year (from August 2026 to August 2027);

You will receive a reply to your application no later than two weeks after the closing date. The submission of a certificate of good conduct (in Dutch abbreviated to VOG) is a condition for commencing employment at BUas. We will initiate a request for this after the terms of employment meeting. Among candidates with equal qualifications and experience, preference will be given to the internal candidate.
